Vibrant Taiwan
Taiwan is a treasure trove of scenic beauty, cultural heritage, and modern charm. The island boasts iconic landmarks like Taipei 101 and serene natural wonders such as Sun Moon Lake and Alishan’s misty forests. Its bustling night markets overflow with tempting street food, from stinky tofu to juicy xiao long bao. Nature lovers can hike dramatic cliffs in Taroko Gorge or relax in soothing hot springs scattered across the island. Taiwan’s rich history is reflected in its centuries-old temples, colonial architecture, and indigenous traditions. The vibrant cities pulse with creativity, while the countryside offers peaceful retreats. With friendly locals and efficient transport, Taiwan is both welcoming and easy to explore—perfect for a memorable adventure.

Arrive at Taoyuan International Airport, where a friendly local representative will be waiting to greet you. From here, you’ll be transferred comfortably to your hotel in the heart of Taipei.
Standard check-in time is from 2:00 PM, so you may need to wait if arriving earlier. Once settled in, take the opportunity to relax and refresh in your room after your journey.
In the late afternoon, begin your Taipei exploration with a visit to the city’s most famous landmark — Taipei 101. Ride the high-speed elevator to the 89th floor observation deck, where you’ll be treated to panoramic views of the skyline, nearby mountains, and beyond. Don’t forget to visit the souvenir shop before descending.
Continue your outing on own with a walk through the dynamic Xinyi District, a modern hub filled with shopping centers, stylish cafes, and entertainment venues.
As evening sets in, enjoy dinner at a local eatery (at your own expense). Taipei offers a wide range of dining options, including several excellent Indian restaurants. Later, soak in the city’s vibrant street culture with a visit to one of its famous night markets, such as Shilin or Raohe, where you can sample local delicacies, shop for unique goods, or simply enjoy the bustling energy.
Overnight at Taipei Hotel.
Begin your morning with a delightful breakfast at the hotel to fuel up for an enriching day ahead.
Your cultural exploration starts with a visit to Longshan Temple, a beautifully ornate sanctuary that reflects centuries of spiritual devotion and architectural grace. Continue to the iconic Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, a powerful tribute to Taiwan’s political history and a striking landmark in the city. Afterwards, wander through the nostalgic lanes of Dihua Street in the Dadaocheng neighborhood — where the charm of old Taipei comes alive through heritage buildings, artisanal shops, and traditional apothecaries.
Enjoy lunch at your leisure — whether you crave a casual bite at a street-side vendor or prefer a cozy local eatery, the choice is yours.
In the afternoon, make your way to the world-renowned National Palace Museum, where thousands of priceless Chinese artifacts and imperial treasures await. It's a fascinating window into centuries of dynastic history and artistic mastery.
As the day winds down, immerse yourself in the energetic vibe of Ximending, Taipei’s trendy urban hub popular among locals and travelers alike. Here, you’ll find endless shopping, quirky cafés, street food stalls, and vibrant city life.
Wrap up your day with dinner — you can opt for flavorful Indian cuisine at one of Taipei’s Indian restaurants or sample more local Taiwanese specialties, depending on your mood and palate (meal on your own cost).
Overnight at Taipei Hotel.
Start your morning with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, then prepare for an unforgettable day exploring the enchanting northeast coast of Taiwan.
Your adventure begins with a visit to Jiufen, a charming mountainside village about an hour’s drive from Taipei. Once a bustling gold mining town, Jiufen now enchants visitors with its vintage teahouses, lantern-lit alleyways, and sweeping ocean views that evoke a sense of old-world charm.
Continue your journey to the iconic Yehliu Geopark, home to a series of surreal geological formations shaped by wind and waves. Don’t miss the famous “Queen’s Head”, a naturally sculpted rock and the park’s most photographed feature.
As midday approaches, return to Jiufen and take your time wandering its lively streets. You’ll find an array of tempting local delicacies and snacks perfect for lunch on your own — from taro balls to sweet potato cakes and herbal tea eggs.
In the afternoon, travel to Shifen, a quaint village steeped in tradition. Its unique claim to fame is a railway that runs directly through the old street, lined with rustic shops and food stalls. While you're there, take part in the popular ritual of releasing a sky lantern, writing your hopes and dreams before watching them float into the sky. Wrap up your exploration with a visit to the nearby Shifen Waterfall, the broadest in Taiwan and a truly picturesque sight with its lush surroundings and thunderous cascade.
Return to Taipei in the early evening. Dinner is on your own — whether you crave comforting Indian flavors at a nearby restaurant or wish to sample more local Taiwanese cuisine, the evening is yours to enjoy.
Overnight at Taipei Hotel.
Start your day with a delightful breakfast at your hotel to prepare for the journey ahead.
Soon after, catch an early morning train to Hualien, the scenic coastal town that serves as the entrance to one of Taiwan’s most stunning landscapes — the majestic Taroko Gorge.
Upon arrival, set off on an unforgettable exploration of this dramatic marble canyon, where vertical cliffs, lush greenery, and thundering waterfalls create a mesmerizing natural spectacle.
Begin your visit at the Eternal Spring Shrine, a serene monument built in remembrance of the 212 workers who lost their lives during the construction of the Central Cross-Island Highway. Nestled into the Cliffside, with a waterfall flowing year-round beneath it, the shrine is a symbol of everlasting memory and peace.
Next, explore the awe-inspiring Swallow Grotto, where natural rock tunnels and narrow cliff paths offer thrilling views of the gorge below. The area is named for the swallows that nest in the small cavities of the limestone walls, adding life and motion to the dramatic landscape carved by the Liwu River.
Continue your journey to the Tunnel of Nine Turns, considered the crown jewel of Taroko Gorge. This gently winding trail hugs the canyon walls high above the river, providing unparalleled views of the gorge’s depth and grandeur. In Chinese, the number “nine” symbolizes abundance, and the trail’s poetic name hints at the richness of the experience.
After immersing yourself in the wonders of Taroko National Park, treat yourself to an authentic Taipei dinner at a restaurant of your choice.
Overnight at Hualien Hotel.
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast served at the hotel.
Next, venture out to the breathtaking Qingshui Cliffs, famous for their towering rock faces and panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and coastal highway. A scenic drive along the Su-Hua Highway provides spectacular perspectives of this dramatic coastline. For those seeking adventure, there’s an option to go sea kayaking (at an extra cost) to explore the cliffs from the water.
In the afternoon, take some time to enjoy lunch on your own at a nearby local eatery before embarking on a memorable dolphin-watching cruise, where you can observe these playful animals in their natural surroundings. Return to your hotel later in the day to relax and enjoy dinner at your leisure, tasting the flavors of the region.
Overnight at Hualien Hotel.
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before completing check-out formalities at your Hualien accommodation. Proceed to the railway station to board your train bound for Taipei.
Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in and take some time to settle in. The remainder of the day is at your discretion to explore Taipei’s vibrant neighborhoods, such as Ximending and Zhongxiao Dunhua, or to engage in other independent activities
Conclude your day with dinner at a local restaurant of your choice, experiencing the rich and diverse flavors Taipei has to offer.
Overnight at Hualien Hotel.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before concluding your trip on a positive note.
Complete check-out formalities and proceed with transfer to the airport for your departure flight to your onward destination.
