The famous Kaziranga National Park, home to the one-horned rhinoceros, and Manas National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, showcase the state’s incredible biodiversity. Assam’s capital, Guwahati, blends modernity with spirituality, housing the revered Kamakhya Temple and offering serene river cruises on the Brahmaputra. Majuli, one of the world’s largest river islands, reflects Assam’s artistic and spiritual traditions through its monasteries and festivals. The state’s colorful Bihu festival, traditional dances, and warm hospitality make every visit memorable. Assam’s cuisine, with its use of fresh herbs and unique flavors, adds another layer to its charm. Whether it’s exploring misty hills, visiting ancient temples, or sipping world-class tea, Assam captivates every traveler with its natural grace and cultural depth.

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel for check-in and relaxation. Guwahati, the bustling gateway to Northeast India, is the largest city in Assam and beautifully blends tradition with modernity.
After freshening up, set out in the afternoon to visit the iconic Kamakhya Temple, one of the most sacred Shakti Peethas in India, perched atop the Nilachal Hill. This ancient temple, dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya, is an important pilgrimage site and a magnificent example of Assamese architecture. After seeking blessings, proceed to the Assam State Museum, where you can delve into the region’s rich history, diverse tribal culture, and artistic heritage through its extensive collection of artifacts, sculptures, and textiles.
As the day winds down, embark on a peaceful evening cruise along the Brahmaputra River, one of the mightiest rivers in Asia. Witness the mesmerizing sunset casting golden hues over the water while enjoying traditional Assamese music and dance performances onboard. The tranquil atmosphere and cultural experience offer a perfect end to your first day in Assam. Later, return to your hotel to savor a delightful dinner and unwind for the night.
Overnight at Guwahati Hotel.
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, set out on your exciting journey to Kaziranga National Park, one of India’s most iconic wildlife sanctuaries and a proud UNESCO World Heritage Site. As you draw closer to Kaziranga, the scenery gradually transforms into expansive grasslands and shimmering wetlands alive with the sights and sounds of the wild. Upon arrival, check in at a serene wildlife resort and take some time to relax amidst the tranquil surroundings.
As evening descends, embark on an adventurous jeep safari through the vast expanse of Kaziranga National Park—a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. Renowned across the globe for its thriving population of the Great Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros, the park also shelters majestic wild elephants, tigers, swamp deer, and an astonishing diversity of birdlife. Each safari offers a new adventure, revealing the park’s unspoiled beauty and the delicate balance of its ecosystem. As you move through dense forests and open meadows, the symphony of chirping birds, rustling leaves, and distant animal calls envelops you in a sense of pure wilderness.
