Golden Triangle Heritage Trail
Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur together form India’s most popular inbound tourist circuit, widely known as the Golden Triangle. Delhi attracts international visitors with its blend of historical monuments, vibrant markets, museums, and modern infrastructure, making it a key entry point through its international airport. Agra draws a large share of inbound tourists primarily due to the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most iconic monuments in the world. Jaipur appeals to foreign tourists with its royal palaces, forts, traditional arts, and colorful cultural experiences. Inbound tourists often choose this circuit because of the short travel distances and well-connected transport facilities. These cities offer a wide range of accommodations, from luxury heritage hotels to budget stays, catering to diverse international travelers. Cultural festivals, local cuisine, and handicrafts further enhance the visitor experience. The Golden Triangle provides tourists with a comprehensive view of India’s history, architecture, and living traditions. As a result, Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur continue to remain a top choice for inbound tourism in India.

On arrival in Delhi, inbound guests are greeted with a warm traditional welcome, reflecting India’s renowned hospitality, and are assisted with a smooth transfer to their hotel for check-in and time to relax after a long international journey.
In the afternoon, the sightseeing tour begins with a guided visit to Old Delhi, the historic core of the city and once the glorious capital of the Mughal Empire. Guests explore the magnificent Jama Masjid, one of the largest and most impressive mosques in India, celebrated for its striking architecture and expansive courtyard. The experience continues with an exhilarating rickshaw ride through the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk, where colorful spice markets, glittering jewelry shops, aromatic street food, and centuries-old havelis offer a glimpse into Delhi’s vibrant daily life.
A panoramic drive past the iconic Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, highlights the city’s rich imperial legacy. The tour also includes a visit to Raj Ghat, the serene memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, offering a moment of quiet reflection. The day concludes with a welcome dinner at the hotel, where guests enjoy a selection of authentic Indian dishes, marking a memorable introduction to the culture, history, and flavors of India.
Overnight at Delhi hotel.
After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, guests set out to explore New Delhi, a city where India’s colonial past blends gracefully with its contemporary character. The tour begins with a guided visit to Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a masterpiece of early Mughal architecture, celebrated for its elegant symmetry, Persian-style charbagh gardens, and its influence on the design of the Taj Mahal.
The journey continues to the striking Qutub Minar, another UNESCO-listed monument and the world’s tallest brick minaret, where intricate carvings and centuries of history reveal the evolution of Indo-Islamic architecture. Guests then enjoy a panoramic drive along the ceremonial Rajpath, passing landmarks such as Rashtrapati Bhavan (the President’s House) and India Gate, enduring symbols of British-era planning and national pride.
If time permits, a visit to Connaught Place offers a glimpse into modern urban India, with its colonial-era colonnades, lively cafés, local boutiques, and vibrant atmosphere. In the evening, guests return to the hotel to relax and enjoy dinner, reflecting on a day filled with rich history, cultural insights, and architectural grandeur.

The fort’s courtyards and frescoed halls vividly narrate the tales of Rajput valor, royal lifestyle, and architectural brilliance blending Hindu and Mughal influences.

The afternoon is free for leisure or shopping, allowing guests to explore Jaipur’s vibrant markets known for handicrafts, gemstones, textiles, block-printed fabrics, and traditional jewelry. In the evening, proceed to Chokhi Dhani, a traditional Rajasthani ethnic village resort, where guests can immerse themselves in local culture through folk music, dance performances, camel rides, and traditional games(on direct payment basis). The experience concludes with a lavish authentic Rajasthani dinner, served in traditional style, offering a delightful taste of the region’s rich culinary heritage before returning to the hotel.

Travel Tips
Best Time to Visit

The ideal time to travel is from October to March, when the weather is pleasant for sightseeing. Summers (April–June) can be extremely hot, especially in Agra and Jaipur.

Clothing & Comfort

Wear light, breathable cotton clothes and comfortable walking shoes. While visiting temples, mosques, or other religious places, dress modestly and carry a scarf or shawl if needed.

Stay Hydrated & Eat Smart

Drink only bottled or purified water. Avoid raw or street food unless recommended by your guide. Indian cuisine can be spicy—request mild food if required.

Currency & Payments

Carry some Indian Rupees (INR) for small purchases. Credit cards are widely accepted in hotels and major shops, but cash is useful for local markets and tips.

Health & Safety

Carry basic medicines, sunscreen, sunglasses, and hand sanitizer. Travel insurance is strongly recommended. Follow your guide’s advice in crowded areas.

Photography Rules

Photography is allowed at most monuments, but tripods or drones may require special permission. Some sites may charge a camera fee—check in advance.

Local Transport & Traffic

Traffic in cities can be busy and unpredictable. Always allow extra travel time. Using a private vehicle with driver is the most comfortable option.

Shopping & Bargaining

Bargaining is common in local markets like Chandni Chowk (Delhi) and Jaipur bazaars. Be polite and enjoy the experience, but avoid unsolicited guides or sellers.

Cultural Etiquette

Indians are warm and welcoming. A simple “Namaste” is appreciated. Always ask before taking photos of local people.

Monument Visits

Major attractions like the Taj Mahal are closed one day a week (Friday). Early morning visits are recommended to avoid crowds and heat.
