Charming Cyprus
Cyprus, the jewel of the Eastern Mediterranean, is a captivating blend of ancient history, sun-soaked beaches, and vibrant culture. Visitors can explore millennia-old ruins such as the Tombs of the Kings in Paphos and the Greco-Roman theatre of Kourion. The island’s divided capital, Nicosia, offers a unique experience of two cultures in one city, showcasing both Greek and Turkish Cypriot heritage. Nature lovers will find serenity in the pine-covered Troodos Mountains and the charming villages nestled among them. Limassol and Larnaca boast lively promenades, historic castles, and relaxing seaside cafes. Adventure seekers can enjoy hiking, diving, or exploring the Akamas Peninsula's untouched beauty. Cypriot cuisine is a delight, with fresh meze platters, halloumi, and local wines adding rich flavors to the journey. Warm hospitality and over 300 days of sunshine a year make Cyprus a year-round destination. Whether you're interested in mythology, beach life, or cultural discovery, Cyprus promises an unforgettable travel experience.

Upon your arrival at Larnaca International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your local driver who will assist you with your luggage and escort you in a private transfer to your hotel in the heart of Larnaca. After checking in, take some time to relax and refresh after your journey.
The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. You might choose to begin your Cypriot adventure with a gentle stroll along the lively Finikoudes Promenade, a palm-lined waterfront known for its charming cafés, boutiques, and sea views. Alternatively, pay a visit to one of Larnaca’s most treasured historical sites — the Church of Saint Lazarus, an exquisite 9th-century Orthodox church built over the tomb of the biblical figure. If you prefer something more tranquil, head to the nearby Phinikoudes Beach to dip your feet in the Mediterranean and unwind on the golden sands.
In the evening, venture out to a local restaurant and enjoy a traditional Cypriot dinner on your own—perhaps sampling dishes such as kleftiko (slow-cooked lamb), halloumi, or fresh seafood paired with local wines. Return to your hotel and rest well, as your Cyprus exploration begins in full swing the next day.
Overnight at Larnaca hotel.
Begin your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, fueling up for a journey through Larnaca’s rich history and picturesque coastal landscapes. Your first stop is the Hala Sultan Tekke, a revered Islamic pilgrimage site nestled beside the shimmering Larnaca Salt Lake. Surrounded by palm trees and tranquil waters, this historic mosque offers both spiritual significance and scenic beauty—especially striking when the lake is dotted with flamingos during the winter season.
Next, step back in time with a visit to the ancient ruins of Kition, an archaeological site that dates back to the 13th century BCE. Wander among the remnants of impressive temples and structures that tell the story of Larnaca’s deep-rooted past as a once-thriving Phoenician city.
After exploring the cultural landmarks, take a peaceful walk along the Salt Lake trail, soaking in the serene natural setting and watching for native birds and wildlife. Later in the day, return to the vibrant heart of the city and stroll through Finikoudes Promenade, lined with swaying palm trees, local boutiques, and inviting seaside cafés. Here, you can relax with a drink or sample some Cypriot delicacies while enjoying the view of the Mediterranean. As the sun begins to set, you may opt for a sunset cruise along the coast—an optional experience offering spectacular views of the Larnaca shoreline bathed in golden hues, with the gentle sea breeze and the rhythmic sound of waves adding to the magic.
The evening is yours to explore at your leisure —perhaps enjoy dinner at a seaside taverna, sampling fresh seafood and meze while reflecting on the coastal beauty and cultural charm that Larnaca so effortlessly offers.
Overnight at Larnaca hotel.
Begin your morning with a leisurely breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Embark on a scenic journey by private vehicle to Nicosia, the historic and cultural heart of Cyprus, known as the last divided capital city in Europe. As you drive inland, observe the changing landscape—from coastal plains to the more urban and historic center of the island. Upon arrival in Nicosia, check in to your centrally located hotel and take some time to refresh and unwind. Later, head out to explore the city’s fascinating Old Town, encircled by impressive 16th-century Venetian walls that whisper stories of the city’s rich and turbulent past. Wander through narrow cobblestone streets lined with a mix of neoclassical buildings, Ottoman-era architecture, and modern cafés.
Be sure to visit Ledra Street, the lively pedestrian thoroughfare that stretches across the Green Line, which divides the Greek Cypriot south from the Turkish Cypriot north. If you’re inclined, you can even cross through the checkpoint with your passport and experience the contrasting atmospheres on either side—a truly unique aspect of Nicosia’s identity. Browse local boutiques, sip Cypriot coffee at a traditional kafeneio, and take in the multicultural energy that defines the city.
Spend your evening enjoying the culinary diversity of Nicosia, with plenty of tavernas and restaurants offering everything from meze platters to Turkish kebabs. Return to your hotel for a restful night in the capital.
Overnight at Nicosia hotel.
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, prepare to uncover the many layers of Cyprus's fascinating capital with a full-day guided walking tour of Nicosia — Europe’s last divided capital. Begin your journey at the Cyprus Museum, the island’s premier archaeological institution. Wander through its impressive galleries that chronicle over 10,000 years of history, from Neolithic artifacts and Bronze Age relics to exquisite Roman statues and intricate mosaics, offering a deep dive into the ancient civilizations that shaped Cyprus.
Next, make your way to the Archbishop's Palace, a striking example of Neo-Byzantine architecture that serves as the spiritual center of the Cypriot Orthodox Church. Here, you’ll also see the adjacent St. John’s Cathedral, modest from the outside but rich with 18th-century frescoes depicting biblical scenes within.
Continue through the charming narrow streets of Laiki Geitonia, a restored neighborhood in the Old Town enclosed within Venetian walls, where traditional stone houses, craft shops, and cafes evoke a bygone era. Soon, arrive at the Selimiye Mosque, formerly the Cathedral of St. Sophia, an awe-inspiring Gothic structure transformed into a mosque during the Ottoman period. Its soaring arches and minarets tell a story of religious and cultural transitions.
With your passport or ID in hand, cross the Green Line via the Ledra Street pedestrian crossing into North Nicosia. Here, immerse yourself in the Turkish Cypriot side of the city. Visit the Büyük Han, a beautifully restored 16th-century caravanserai now serving as a vibrant hub for local artisans, galleries, and cafés. Enjoy time to browse the shops or sip traditional Turkish coffee in the atmospheric courtyard.
Stroll through the nearby Arabahmet district, known for its Ottoman-era architecture, peaceful residential streets, and historic mansions. Your guide will share insights into the city’s complex history and the everyday life of residents on both sides of the divide.
As the day winds down, return to the southern side of Nicosia and head back to your hotel to relax. In the evening, dine at a local restaurant of your choice, where you can savor authentic Cypriot cuisine — whether meze platters, grilled halloumi, or kleftiko — at your leisure.
Overnight at Nicosia hotel.
After a delightful breakfast at your hotel in Nicosia, embark on a full-day excursion tailored to cool mountain air and cultural heritage of the Troodos Mountains.
Troodos Mountains – Villages, Churches, and Nature
Venture into the heart of Cyprus with a scenic drive through the Troodos Mountains, where pine forests, terraced vineyards, and quaint stone-built villages create a postcard-perfect setting. Begin your exploration in Kakopetria, a charming village known for its traditional architecture and cobblestone alleys. Wander through its old quarter, admire the wooden balconies and flowering courtyards, and perhaps stop for a coffee in a local kafeneio.
Continue onwards to explore some of the island’s UNESCO - listed Byzantine churches, such as Panagia Podithou or Agios Nikolaos tis Stegis, known for their richly painted interiors that depict centuries-old frescoes. These hidden spiritual treasures offer insight into Cyprus’s religious and artistic heritage.
Break for a leisurely lunch in a mountain tavern, where you can sample local specialties like moussaka, souvlaki, and homemade halloumi. The journey also offers opportunities to pause at panoramic viewpoints for photographs or a short nature walk among the pine trails.
By late afternoon, begin the return journey to Nicosia, reflecting on a day filled with discovery, natural beauty, and rich cultural contrasts. The evening is at leisure to unwind or enjoy dinner at one of Nicosia’s vibrant local eateries.

In the afternoon, begin your introduction to the city with a leisurely walk through the Old Town, where narrow streets brim with colorful facades, artisan shops, and cozy cafés. Later, head towards the Molos Promenade, a beautifully landscaped seafront path lined with palm trees, fountains, and sculptures. Enjoy the refreshing sea breeze as you stroll past locals fishing off the breakwaters, children playing in open spaces, and locals sipping coffee in open-air cafés.

After a delightful breakfast at your hotel, set out on a full day of cultural discovery and scenic exploration around Limassol and its surrounding countryside. Begin your day at the archaeological site of Kourion, one of Cyprus’s most impressive ancient city-kingdoms. Marvel at the well-preserved Greco-Roman amphitheater, still used today for performances, and take in breathtaking views over the Mediterranean. Explore the intricate floor mosaics of the House of Eustolios and learn about Kourion’s rich history dating back to the 2nd century BCE.
Next, journey to the nearby Kolossi Castle, a striking medieval fortress originally built by the Knights of St. John in the 13th century. Wander through its stone chambers and towers while imagining its past as a strategic military base and sugar production center during the Crusader period.
Continue inland to the charming village of Omodos, nestled in the foothills of the Troodos Mountains. This picturesque village is famed for its wine-making heritage and cobbled lanes lined with stone houses. Visit the Timios Stavros Monastery (Holy Cross Monastery), believed to house a relic of the True Cross.
