Heritage & Hills Getaway
Bengaluru, fondly known as the "Garden City of India," greets you with its perfect blend of modern lifestyle, lush parks, and a cosmopolitan charm. From the serene Lalbagh Botanical Garden to the buzzing MG Road, the city beautifully combines tradition with contemporary living. A short drive away lies Mysore, the cultural capital of Karnataka, where the regal Mysore Palace dazzles with grandeur and the Chamundi Hills radiate spiritual energy. Stroll through the city’s vibrant markets or witness the musical fountains at Brindavan Gardens for a truly enchanting experience. As you ascend into the mist-covered hills of Coorg, endless coffee estates, cascading waterfalls like Abbey Falls, and the tranquil banks of the Cauvery River welcome you into nature’s embrace. Nicknamed the "Scotland of India," Coorg is a paradise of rolling hills, cool breezes, and verdant landscapes. Crossing into Kerala, Wayanad reveals an untouched world of forests, spice plantations, and breathtaking views. The prehistoric Edakkal Caves spark curiosity, while the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary offers rare encounters with elephants and exotic species. This journey through Bangalore, Mysore, Coorg, and Wayanad is a delightful blend of culture, history, nature, and adventure—crafted to leave travelers with memories for a lifetime.

Your unforgettable journey begins the moment you land at Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) in Bengaluru, the bustling gateway to Karnataka. From here, a picturesque drive awaits you, leading you through scenic highways lined with stretches of greenery, quaint towns, and glimpses of rural life, as you make your way to the royal city of Mysore. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your hotel and refresh before stepping into a city that beautifully blends history, culture, and grandeur.
Your exploration starts with the crown jewel of Mysore, the Mysore Palace. As you walk through its grand halls and intricately adorned corridors, marvel at the splendid Indo-Saracenic architecture, resplendent stained-glass windows, ornate ceilings, and the royal legacy that still echoes within its walls. The palace, illuminated by the stories of the Wodeyar dynasty, is a true testament to regal opulence.
Next, ascend the winding road to Chamundi Hill, a site of spiritual significance and one of Mysore’s most iconic landmarks. At the summit, pay your respects at the revered Sri Chamundeshwari Temple, a centuries-old shrine dedicated to the city’s guardian deity. From this vantage point, take in the breathtaking panoramic view of Mysore, with the palace, markets, and urban sprawl stretching out like a vibrant tapestry beneath you.
As the evening sets in, immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of the Devaraja Market. This bustling traditional bazaar is a feast for the senses—brightly colored flower garlands, fragrant spices, stacks of fresh produce, and handcrafted souvenirs all vying for your attention. The market offers not just shopping, but an authentic glimpse into Mysore’s cultural heartbeat.

Travel Tips

Best Time to Visit:
The ideal time is October to March for pleasant weather. June to September is the monsoon season — great for Ayurvedic treatments and lush greenery, but expect heavy rains.
Carry Light Cotton Clothes:
Kerala is generally warm and humid. Pack light cotton clothes, comfortable footwear, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
Stay Hydrated & Eat Wisely:
Drink only bottled water (check the seal).Try authentic Kerala cuisine, but be cautious with spicy or street food if you’re not used to it.
Respect Local Culture:
Dress modestly, especially when visiting temples. Remove footwear before entering any place of worship.
Houseboat Etiquette:
If cruising in Alleppey or Kumarakom, carry mosquito repellent and clarify if air conditioning will be provided during the night.
Wildlife and Plantation Tours:
For Periyar or Munnar plantation visits, wear sturdy shoes and carry rain gear if visiting during the rainy season.
Connectivity & Language:
English is widely understood, but learning a few Malayalam phrases can go a long way. Internet is available but may be patchy in remote areas.
Transport & Local Travel:
Hiring a private cab with a local driver is convenient for inter-city travel. Auto-rickshaws are good for short distances, but always negotiate fares.
Cash & ATMs:
While UPI and cards work in cities, carry some cash for remote areas and small vendors.
Ayurvedic Treatments:
Only opt for certified and reputed Ayurvedic centres for authentic therapies.
