The Pink City, Jaipur
Jaipur, fondly called the Pink City of India, is a vibrant blend of royal heritage and modern charm. Known for its magnificent forts, palaces, and havelis, the city offers a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of Rajput kings. The iconic Amber Fort, perched on a hilltop, mesmerizes visitors with its grandeur and intricate artistry. City Palace and Hawa Mahal stand as architectural marvels that narrate tales of regal glory. The astronomical brilliance of Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, attracts history and science lovers alike. Strolling through the bustling bazaars of Johari and Bapu markets, one can shop for gemstones, handicrafts, textiles, and traditional jewellery. Jaipur is also famous for its vibrant festivals like Teej and Gangaur, which showcase the city’s rich cultural traditions. The flavors of authentic Rajasthani cuisine add more delight to the travel experience. With heritage hotels offering royal stays, camel rides in the desert outskirts, and evening sound-and-light shows at forts, Jaipur ensures unforgettable experiences. Whether you are a history enthusiast, a cultural explorer, or a leisure traveler, Jaipur offers something unique for everyone.

On arrival in Jaipur, famously known as the “Pink City of India,” you will be warmly welcomed at the airport or railway station by our local representative cum driver. A private transfer will take you comfortably to your hotel. Once you check in, take some time to relax and settle into the vibrant atmosphere of Rajasthan’s capital city.
In the afternoon, set out to explore the heart of Jaipur with a guided heritage walk. Wander through the bustling streets of the old city, where lively bazaars like Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar showcase glittering jewellery, colorful textiles, and exquisite handicrafts. As you stroll along, admire the unique pink-hued buildings and ornate facades that have earned Jaipur its famous nickname.
During your walk, stop at the iconic Hawa Mahal, or “Palace of Winds,” one of Jaipur’s most photographed landmarks. Its five-storied façade, decorated with delicate latticework and hundreds of small windows, was once designed for royal ladies to observe street processions unseen. This architectural gem makes for a perfect spot to capture memorable photographs.
As evening falls, head to Chokhi Dhani, a cultural village that recreates the charm of rural Rajasthan. Here, you can experience folk dances, puppet shows, and camel rides while soaking in the festive spirit. The highlight of the evening will be indulging in a sumptuous traditional Rajasthani thali dinner, served in true royal style under the starry sky.
After this immersive cultural experience, return to your hotel for a restful overnight stay in Jaipur, carrying the first impressions of this colorful and regal city.
Overnight at Jaipur hotel.
After a delightful breakfast at your hotel, embark on a fascinating half-day excursion to the majestic Amer Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most iconic landmarks of Jaipur. Perched on a rugged hill overlooking the serene Maota Lake, the fort offers a captivating glimpse into Rajasthan’s royal past. You can ascend the fort either by jeep or, if available, enjoy a traditional elephant ride that recreates the regal experience of the Rajput kings. Once inside, explore the fort’s grand courtyards, intricately carved gateways, and architectural marvels like the Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors), where thousands of tiny mirrors reflect light in a dazzling display.
On your return journey from Amer, pause for a memorable photo stop at the enchanting Jal Mahal, a palace that seems to float in the middle of the tranquil Man Sagar Lake. Its unique architecture and scenic surroundings make it one of the most photographed landmarks of Jaipur, especially with the Aravalli hills in the backdrop.
In the afternoon, continue your exploration with a visit to the City Palace, a splendid complex that beautifully blends Rajput and Mughal styles of architecture. Wander through its sprawling courtyards, vibrant gardens, and museum galleries displaying royal costumes, weaponry, and artifacts. The richly decorated royal chambers and the Peacock Gate, with its stunning motifs, are a true delight for history and art lovers.
Just a short walk from the palace lies the Jantar Mantar, an extraordinary astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it houses massive stone instruments that were used centuries ago to measure time, track celestial bodies, and predict eclipses. The precision and scientific ingenuity of these structures continue to amaze visitors even today.
As the day winds down, treat yourself to a leisurely dinner at a charming rooftop restaurant, where the illuminated cityscape of Jaipur forms a magical backdrop. The twinkling lights of forts and palaces create a truly unforgettable ambiance, making it the perfect way to conclude your day of exploration.
Overnight at Jaipur hotel.
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast served at your hotel, preparing you for an exciting exploration of Jaipur. After your meal, set out to the Albert Hall Museum, Jaipur’s oldest and most prestigious museum, located in the heart of the city. The museum is a treasure trove of history and culture, showcasing rare artifacts, centuries-old carpets, miniature paintings, sculptures, and traditional Rajasthani art forms. Its Indo-Saracenic architecture itself is a marvel to admire, making it a perfect starting point for your cultural exploration of Jaipur.
After soaking in the historical richness, proceed to the serene and striking Birla Mandir. Made entirely of white marble, this temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. Its intricate carvings, spiritual ambiance, and the beautiful backdrop of Moti Dungri Hill create a peaceful setting for visitors. The temple’s stained-glass windows depicting Hindu mythology further add to its charm, making it a must-visit landmark in Jaipur.
Later in the day, continue your journey to the magnificent Nahargarh Fort, perched on the Aravalli Hills. This fort offers panoramic views of Jaipur city spread below, a sight especially breathtaking during the daytime. Walk through the fort’s courtyards and historic structures while enjoying the cool breeze and natural beauty surrounding it. Nahargarh is also known for its unique step wells and artistic architecture, which beautifully complement its strategic hilltop location.
In the afternoon, immerse yourself in Jaipur’s vibrant art and handicraft scene. The city is globally renowned for its blue pottery, delicate block printing, and intricately designed gemstone jewellery. Wander through local markets or artisan workshops to witness skilled craftsmanship and perhaps take home a piece of Jaipur’s artistic heritage.
As the evening sets in, unwind with a traditional Rajasthani cultural performance. Enjoy a puppet show or a lively folk dance that brings to life the colors, music, and storytelling traditions of the desert state. Jaipur or Jodhpur.

Food & Water

Try Local Cuisine: Must-tries include Dal Baati Churma, Laal Maas, Gatte ki Sabzi, Ker Sangri, and sweets like Ghevar.
Street Food: Enjoy kachoris, mirchi vada, and lassi, but prefer reputed shops to avoid stomach issues.

villages.
