Wonders of Cambodia
Cambodia, a Southeast Asian gem, offers a perfect blend of ancient history and vibrant culture. The awe-inspiring Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage site, stands as the world’s largest religious monument and a symbol of Khmer architectural brilliance. In Siem Reap, colorful markets, traditional Apsara dance shows, and floating villages provide authentic local experiences. The capital, Phnom Penh, showcases royal palaces, French colonial charm, and poignant memorials of the country’s past. For nature lovers, Tonlé Sap Lake and the Cardamom Mountains offer scenic escapes and rich biodiversity. Cambodia's southern coast boasts pristine beaches and tranquil islands like Koh Rong. Savor flavorful Khmer cuisine, with dishes like Amok and Lok Lak. Warm-hearted locals and a laid-back atmosphere make Cambodia a welcoming and enriching destination for every traveler.

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by our local representative and escorted to your hotel for check-in.
After a brief rest, begin your exploration with a visit to the stunning Royal Palace complex, built in 1866 by the predecessors of King Norodom, showcasing traditional Khmer architecture and cultural grandeur. Adjacent to it lies the shimmering Silver Pagoda — also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha — home to a dazzling collection of Buddha statues adorned with gold, diamonds, and precious gems.
Continue the journey with a photo stop at the Independence Monument, followed by a guided tour of the National Museum, a remarkable structure reflecting classical Khmer design and housing over 5,000 artifacts crafted from bronze, wood, gold, silver, sandstone, and more. Drive along the picturesque riverfront, where four rivers—including the mighty Mekong—intersect, before ascending Phnom Daun Penh, a sacred hill crowned with a historic pagoda that gave Phnom Penh its name.
Conclude the day with a visit to the iconic Central Market, a striking 1937 art-deco structure designed by French architect Louis Chauchon, known for its vast domed hallways filled with local goods and souvenirs. Meals will be enjoyed at local restaurants and are to be paid for directly by the traveler.

Start your day at the South Gate of Angkor Thom, famously called “Big Angkor”. Once the grand capital of the Angkorian Empire, this 3-square-kilometer moated city is enclosed by towering walls. Delve into the fascinating Bayon Temple, an enigmatic masterpiece known for its giant stone faces and complex design, constructed gradually over a century. Continue to the Terrace of the Elephants, a striking 300-meter-long royal platform adorned with intricate elephant carvings, leading you to the Baphuon, an ancient temple mountain symbolizing Mount Meru. Explore the Royal Palace grounds and the sandstone pyramid of Phimeanakas, once used for royal ceremonies. Nearby lies the Terrace of the Leper King, with its mystical carvings of mythical serpents, demons, and celestial beings.

Overnight at Siem Reap hotel.
Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. Today’s exploration takes you through the fascinating Small Circuit of Angkor’s archaeological wonders. Begin at Ta Prohm, where towering roots of ancient trees intertwine with the temple ruins, creating a surreal and iconic scene. Continue to Prasat Kravan, unique for its brick structure and exquisite bas-reliefs, believed to be built by noblemen rather than royalty. Next, visit Banteay Kdei, a quiet, atmospheric temple known for its crumbling sandstone structure and beautiful carvings. Adjacent lies Srah Srang, a tranquil royal reservoir once used for ceremonial bathing.
Proceed to Takeo, an unfinished temple mountain dedicated to Shiva—its clean lines and lack of carvings set it apart from its richly decorated neighbours. Then, visit Thommanon, a compact yet well-preserved temple showcasing fine examples of Khmer architecture, followed by Chau Say Tevoda, situated just opposite. Dedicated to both Shiva and Vishnu, this temple offers a blend of religious symbolism and artistic heritage.
This afternoon, set out on an enriching overland journey through the majestic Grand Circuit of Angkor. Begin at Preah Khan, once a Buddhist university and temple complex built by King Jayavarman VII. Known as “The Sacred Sword”, it features enchanting tree-rooted ruins, lengthy cruciform galleries, and intricate carvings that hint at a glorious past.
Continue to Neak Pean, a symbolic temple-island representing the mythical Anavatapta Lake. This elegant, water-based sanctuary was designed to mirror the universe, with its central shrine and surrounding pools evoking heavenly harmony. Next, explore Ta Som, a peaceful, lesser-visited gem with photogenic Bayon-style towers and giant fig trees reclaiming the ancient stone.
Venture onward to East Mebon, once perched on an island in the now-dry Eastern Baray. Built by King Rajendravarman, it features remarkable elephant statues and well-preserved lintels. Conclude your temple trail at Pre Rup, a mountain-temple of warm laterite and brick. As the day draws to a close, ascend its pyramid-like tiers and witness a breathtaking sunset view over the Cambodian plains — a perfect finale to your cultural afternoon.
Enjoy lunch and dinner at a local restaurant at your own expense. Return to your hotel and enjoy some well-deserved rest.

This morning, pay a solemn visit to Wat Thmei, one of Siem Reap’s lesser-known but deeply moving sites. It's a quiet place for reflection on Cambodia’s turbulent past.
Continue your cultural journey at Les Artisans d'Angkor – Chantiers École, where tradition meets talent. Witness the revival of ancient Khmer craftsmanship as young artisans sculpt, paint, and weave beautiful pieces of authentic Cambodian art—a true celebration of the country’s living heritage.
Lunch at a local restaurant (on your own expense).
In the afternoon, explore the captivating Floating Villages, just 10 km south of Siem Reap. Glide across the Tonlé Sap Lake, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake, aboard a traditional wooden boat. Observe the vibrant floating homes, schools, and shops—offering a fascinating glimpse into the water-bound lifestyle of local Khmer communities.
Next, visit the serene Wat Bo Pagoda, one of the oldest in Siem Reap, dating back to the 18th century. Admire its rare and delicate murals depicting scenes from the Reamker, Cambodia’s version of the Ramayana. Before returning, take a leisurely stroll through a local market, where you can soak in the everyday rhythms of Cambodian life.
